Tony, LOL... it was an "okay" result. I didn't catch the tornadoes in far north-central KS. Was on that storm farther south near Salina but logistics prevented me from keeping up with it. I'll post a full account later on today w/ pics. I've had no time to blog/post pics the past couple days after this chase...

I found your web-site and it currently is 4:51pm in Kansas City on 4-6-2006. They were saying that we were supposed to have storms today. I was looking around at some storm chaser web-sites and found yours. It is very nice. I saw my first tornado when I was 10 years old. It was May 31, 1985 and my family lived in Crawford County, Pennsylvania at
the time. There were a lot of tornados that day and a lot of people died. My dad's
friend John Moore was one of them. He was lying in the ditch near the family's trailer home. John was a big man (over 300lbs). He laid down on top of his two small sons to protect them. He was killed by the debris and they didn't have a scratch. I think that people who chase storms really do a lot of good work. The more photos and videos we have of them, the more we can learn from them. Then more lives will be saved.
Thank you for your work.

Yours,
