Last I looked, it had the potential to drop further south and affect TX, too. We need the precip in TX, and with the current Gulf flow, we could squeeze some precip out. Looks now like it’s gonna drop that off to our east.

Definitely liked that southward jog the 18z GFS took (and the 12z EC for that matter…) from my vantage point here in GLD. Unfortunately, the arctic air mass in which the snow will fall certainly isn’t conducive to significant moisture but at this point, we’ll take what ever the heck we can get.
