We were also late...very late. We didn't get to this sucker until it was between Harrisburg and Dalton. Indecisiveness or poor/slow decision making on our part, as well as a lack of data in the field, prohibited us from making it to this storm quicker. Still, we followed this storm from that area northwest of Dalton, NE, out towards Oskosh before it collapsed, and the stuff to the east became the dominant storm. Incredible! This is only my second time chasing, and the first time having ever seen something like this! It was great meeting you again. Thanks for the help out there over the last few days.
