Wow. I didn't think the departure from the morning roost would be that good. Literally thousands and thousands of Starling and Geese departing their roost at sunrise at the Big Salt Marsh at Quivira NWR. What a sight and sound! More opportunity to test out my new Nikon zoom lens... photographing Mallards and even an opportunity at a Northern Harrier flying pretty low to the ground. This morning I was out there from about 7:45 to almost 10:00 am.
