Close lightning strike!

This dramatic image of a cloud-to-ground lightning flash was captured from a supercell thunderstorm that tracked across portions of Southwest Texas near San Angelo on April 26, 2008. I had my Nikon D200 on a tripod with the Lightning Trigger shutter release attached. This is a 12mm full-frame image (no cropping done!). Exposure was f/10 at 0.6 seconds.
