Red Crossbills, with as many as 19 individual birds, have been regularly
visiting my feeding station 5 miles north of Dodge City. On the morning
of April 9th, I photographed these birds along with other regulars such
as Red-winged Blackbird, Common Grackle, and even some Pine Siskin.
