Synopsis:
This was the first shoot with my brand new Nikon 600mm f/4 lens. I photographed from a distance a small flock of Mallards that all took off at the sound of distant gun shots (some off-refuge hunting) as well as a coyote roaming around a group of cranes and waterfowl way off on the other side of Big Salt Marsh. I also photographed some Greater Yellowlegs along Wildlife Drive. |
