Synopsis:
A Snowy Owl was reported along the county line of Harvey and Butler east of Newton, Kansas in mid-December. Since I was going to be going through this area on my way to Kansas City for the weekend, I decided to stop by the last reported location of the owl. Sure enough, the owl was just about exactly where it was last reported! I spent about a half hour photographing this amazing bird, despite the cloudy conditions. I managed to get some great looks and images. |
