Synopsis:
I decided to set up on the north shore of Horsethief Reservoir under cover of darkness before sunrise in hopes of getting some images of roosting Sandhill Cranes and whatever else flew and/or floated by. There was a small group of cranes that I photographed briefly before they took off. I also photographed a pair of Hooded Merganser as they floated by, but other than that, this was a weak shoot, unfortunately. |
